Introducing holos.
Today, we’re introducing holos, the customizable VR homespace that lets you do more. After almost a year of hard work, all of us here at turingVR are excited to share it with you.
We created holos for two reasons;
Because we believe that you should have have complete ownership and control over your VR homespace. Why should a “home” just be somewhere that you can buy and launch content?
Because we believe that VR should be used to its fullest potential. Virtual reality is such an expansive medium and we think that you should be able to take advantage of that.
With those reasons in mind, we set out to make holos. Holos is the homespace that you can actually call home.
Putting you in control
You can use our web card framework to get things done in a fun and unique way. Do simple tasks like checking the weather, keeping up with what your friends posted online, or even listening to music, all within the comfort of your homespace.
Getting you the content you love
You can shop for and collect the best VR content that the community has to offer, by browsing for content both in VR and online. Web app cards can be used all around your homespace to bring the best non-3D content with you into VR.
Making it your own
You can make the space around you your own. Pick up items, move them around, and turn the space into a place that you can call home. Organize your content in a way that makes sense for you.
Looking towards the future
Holos is always evolving and moving closer to our mission of letting people do more in a VR homespace. Holos is built to meet the needs of the community, and we’re going to grow together.
In the next couple of months, we will be letting people download and try out holos for themselves. The first 500 to be selected for the alpha program will recieve a special prize in the mail, including a holos sticker and a collectible, physical, holos card with a code for an exclusive space for use in holos.
We’re looking for early pioneers to help us test and give feedback.
